Follow these steps to fix this issue (you'll need administrator previlages for these next steps):
1. Open the Control Panel and click "Security and Maintenance".
2. Click "Change Windows SmartScreen settings".
3. Click "Warn before running an unrecognized app..." radio button then click "OK".
4. Double-click the MPDB_win.exe and you'll see ths SmartScreen prompt, click the "More info" text.

You can set/change the directory for file and plot output in the "Options->Output..." menu item. The file name depends on the material and property that is being requested. For example for the linear expansion of Cr the data file would be called: "dl_l_Cr.txt" or "dl_l_Cr_plot.bmp". The full path and file name can be seen by holding the cursor over the checkbox labeled "write text file".
Yes. Complete references are given for all of the properties. The best way to see this is to download the demo version where all of the data for the elements are provided for free.
You can add your data yourself using the "User Material" function. This allows you to have the full functionality of the MPDB software and allows you to keep your data private. See the Working_with_User_Materials.pdf file.
Or you can send us a copy of the data and we can add it to the database. However, you must also include a reference and the data will be available to all users of the software.
